Agricultural asset management leader Agrion took the top prize in the Market Expansion category at the annual Economics magazine and KRIB - the largest employer organization, awards.

The valuable distinction was handed to the executive director Anatoli Georgiev personally by Iliyan Terziev, chairman of the Chamber of Builders in Bulgaria. Ministers and hundreds of company owners and managers attended the glamorous ceremony in the capital's "John Atanasov" hall.

This is another award that "Agrion" receives from KRIB. In 2019, the company was awarded for growth by the largest employer organization.

In 2016, the executive director of the financing company "Agrion Finance", part of "Agrion", Svetla Boyanova, received an award for contribution to the development of the "Agriculture" sector in the competition Mr. and Mrs. Economics 2016.

"The fact that we are receiving another prize for growth from KRIB means a high appreciation for the sustainable business model of our company and the right path that we have followed steadfastly over the years", said Anatoli Georgiev upon receiving the award.

"In the 6+ years we've been in business, we've brought the agricultural land management business to light. Now we are charting the path to the next step – digitization of agriculture, creation of new business niches, construction of a sustainable infrastructure that will bear fruit years later", added the executive director of Agrion.

According to him, the impressive growth achieved by the company in all key indicators makes Agrion the No. 1 agricultural brand in Bulgaria. "This award will be our incentive to continue making efforts in the direction of consolidating agricultural land, improving its status and increasing its added value," said Anatoli Georgiev.

Despite the difficulties, this year the competition for the awards of the Economy magazine and KRIB is extremely high. The awards, however, go to the most successful companies, said KRIB chairman Kiril Domuschiev.
