Agrion awarded scholarships to Plovdiv's most prosperous young athlete, Joseph Miladinov

The ceremony was part of the city's Athlete of the Year Plovdiv's awards. Agrion's award was presented by its production director Nikolay Minev.

The Agrion medalist is one of Bulgaria's most brilliant swimming talents. At only 16 years old, he became the first Bulgarian to swim a 100m butterfly in less than 52 seconds. - 51.91 sec.

Miladinov won an Olympic quota for Tokyo, and among his awards are third and fourth place at the World Swimming Championships in Budapest, Hungary, as well as a silver medal in the 100 meters butterfly at the European Junior Championships in Kazan, Russia.

Joseph was voted second in the Plovdiv Athlete of the Year rankings. The winner of the race was the canoe kayaker Angel Kodinov, and his prize was awarded by the mayor of the city Zdravko Dimitro
